According to a study published in The International Journal for Applied Research in Veterinary Medicine by veterinary nutritionists at the Cumming’s School of Veterinary Medicine at Tuft’s University, the majority of dog owners believe that senior pets have different nutritional requirements than adult dogs. However, according to the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO), there are no specific guidelines for aging dogs.
