It's Summer and the rainy season means Toads are out. Early in the morning and after a summer shower, your dogs are vulnerable to toad toxicity. If your dog goes outside unattended and comes in salivating or "foaming" from the mouth, followed by possible staggering, this is a sign that your dog has possibly licked a toad. Please call the clinic or your regular vet immediately for instructions. Do Not stick any liquids in the dogs mouth or try to make it drink anything. Our staff will instruct you correctly what to do in this event and You will have to take him to the closest clinic immediately.
