Miami Dog Grooming - Knowles Animal Clinic

A regular bathing schedule is an important grooming step to improve and control the comfort of your pet’s skin and coat. All animals dropped off for bathing are examined by our health care team. When requested, a doctor will examine skin, ears, eyes and any other obvious health issues during this visit and the appropriate treatments and shampoos will be discussed with you to enhance or control the specific issues of your pet. Ears are cleaned and the nails are trimmed as well.

Medical grooming is available as deemed necessary for the health and well being of your pets and is one of the basic steps in the control of skin diseases and external parasites of all kinds. Flea control is also essential to a healthy happy environment for you and your pets. When an animal’s coat is unmanageable, grooming beyond a basic hair cut is the first step to take. No matter how out of control your pets coat is, we are ready to start you on the right track back to your regular grooming schedule.

Medical grooming is anything from a basic or medicated bath, to a full clip down. When the health and well being of an animal is at stake, a partial clip down, special area clip, ear plucking, nail trimming, or any other type of non-esthetic grooming can also be done for your cat or dogs comfort by a caring and gentle animal health care team member.
