Dr. David Wise DVM
Dr. David T. Wise Jr. went to undergraduate school at the University of Georgia from 1965-1969 and graduated with a BSA in agriculture. He also got his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia graduating in 1972. He completed his professional training at the Animal Medical Center in New York City from 1972-1973 where he did a medical and surgical internship.
Dr. Wise is a member of many organizations including Ag Hon, Gridiron Secret Society (UGA), Phi Zeta Honorary Society, Phi Eta Sigma Honorary Society, Phi Kappa Phi, Alpha Zeta, and Omega Taw Sigma. He was president of the student chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) while in veterinary school. He is also a member of the Florida Veterinary Medical Association (FVMA), the South Florida Veterinary Medical Association (SFVMA) and the Veterinary Dental Society and the Veterinary Ophthalmology Society.
Dr. Wise has been interested I veterinary orthopedics since his training at the Animal Medical Center. All Surgeries including neurosurgery, most soft tissue surgery and orthopedic surgery are performed by Dr. Wise at the Central location.
He is married to Jane Ann and has two sons, Andy and Scott. He enjoys biking, swimming, yoga and traveling. The Wises live in South Miami Dade County with their five dogs and seven cats.

Dr. Zarina Garcia
Dr. Zarina Garcia went to Veterinary school at the Superior Institute of Agricultural Sciences of Havana, Cuba. She graduated in 1994. She has been licensed to practice in the United States since December of 1999 and received her Florida State Veterinary License at that same time.
She is a member of the AVMA since 2000 and the FVA (Florida Veterinary Association) since 2002.

Dr. Jacqueline Pereira
Dr. Jacqueline Pereira went to undergraduate school at Miami-Dade Community College from 1981-1984 and graduated with a degree in Associate of Arts in Pre Veterinary medicine. She continued on to graduate school at the University of Florida and graduated in 1987 her Bachelors of Science in Zoology. Continuing on to Veterinary school, also at the University of Florida, She graduated in 1992.
Dr. Pereira is involved in several organizations including the AVMA since 1992 and AAHA since 1997. She was also a member of the Animal Welfare from 1988-1992.
Her extended experience prior to veterinary school includes years of working at a Miami animal hospital as a technician. She also worked before and during veterinary school at Knowles Animal Clinics Central office as well as our Snapper Creek offices to expand her experience and knowledge.
Her licenses include the Florida State Veterinary License since 1992 and she is certified with The Veterinary Association since 1993 and the AVMA since 1992.
