Veterinary Doctor - Dr. Jacqueline Pereira

Dr. Jacqueline Pereira went to undergraduate school at Miami-Dade Community College from 1981-1984 and graduated with a degree in Associate of Arts in Pre Veterinary medicine. She continued on to graduate school at the University of Florida and graduated in 1987 with a degree of Bachelors of Science in Zoology. Then to veterinary school also at the University of Florida from 1988-1992.Dr. Pereira is involved in several organizations including the AVMA since 1992 and AAHA since 1997. She was also a member of the Animal Welfare from 1988-1992.

Dr. Pereira’s experience prior to veterinary school included Shaffer Animal Central from 1981-1987 and she also worked before and during veterinary school here at Knowles Animal Clinics. She worked at the Central and Snapper Creek locations as well as the West Lakes location.

Her licenses include the Florida State Veterinary License since 1992 and she is certified with The Veterinary Association since 1993 and the AVMA since 1992.

Dr. Pereira’s special interests are with small animal medicine. She owns 1 dog, a Labrador, and 3 cats.
