Veterinary Doctor - Dr. Michael J. Williams

Dr. Michael J. Williams went to undergraduate school at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst from 1993-1998. He graduated with a Bachelor in Biology and Cum Laude Biochemistry. He continued on to Veterinary school at Tuskegee University and graduated in May 2003.

Dr. Williams is involved with many organizations including membership with the AVMA and a member of VECCS (Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society) since 2000 where he was Vice President in the first year of veterinary school. He is also a member of AAHA since 2002 and was Vice President.

Dr. Williams’ experience before and during veterinary school includes working as a veterinary technician at numerous animal hospitals in Connecticut, Florida and Massachusetts.

His licenses include the Florida State Veterinary License since 2004 as well as state licenses for Alabama since 2003 and Georgia since 2003.

Dr. Williams has an interest in small animal medicine and emergency & critical care medicine. His pets include a Cairn terrier named Phoebe, a Golden Retriever named Rigger and a long hair cat named Dodger. In his spare time he enjoys mountain biking, mountain climbing and fishing.
