Dr. Hernandez, DVM
Dr. Hernandez was born in Colombia, South America. He attended the University of the Llanos School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 1993 from a dual enrollment program. He is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and also maintains a degree in Animal Science.
Dr. Hernandez was appointed to the Colombian Institute of Agriculture, a branch of the Colombian government, where he trained in Infectious Diseases and Laboratory Animals.
Dr. Hernandez’s professional interests include zoonotic diseases, with an emphasis on rabies, brucellosis, tuberculosis and other diseases not limited to leptospirosis. Dr. Hernandez has spent a good deal of time working with reproduction in large animals, focusing on embryo transfer. His veterinary interests include Emergency Medicine, Animal Laboratory and General Medicine.
Dr. Hernandez is grateful for his professional opportunities, which have allowed him to work in numerous countries and in different aspects of veterinary medicine.
In his free time, Dr. Hernandez enjoys travel, riding horses, beach days and other outdoor activities.
